La Fira Villarroel & Casanova: Reggaeton & Latin Music

La Fira is Barcelona’s best Latin music club – reggaeton, Latin hits, and commercial tracks. Two locations in Eixample: Villarroel and Casanova. Both 18+, both with free guest list entry, and one of the most relaxed dress codes in the city.
Here is everything you need to know about La Fira Villarroel and La Fira Casanova.
La Fira has two locations – do not mix them up
La Fira Casanova: Carrer de Casanova, 171, Eixample, 08036 Barcelona
La Fira Villarroel: Carrer de Villarroel, 216, Eixample, 08036 Barcelona
Same brand, same vibe, same music – Latin and commercial. Same relaxed dress code at both. The difference is the guest list cutoffs. Villarroel gives you more time for free entry. More on that below.
What to expect – music, crowd, vibe
Latin music and commercial hits. Reggaeton, dembow, and the tracks you hear on the radio. If you want electronic or techno, this is not your club. If you want to dance to Latin, it is.
Age 18+. Crowd is Latin, Spanish, international. Students, tourists, expats – people who like the music and do not want to dress up. Door policy is relaxed. Door price without guest list: 15–20€ with a drink.
This is the place for people who want to avoid strict doors and dress codes. You can show up in a clean t-shirt and jeans and get in.
Dress code: relaxed
Men: No shirt required. Clean t-shirt and jeans are fine. Clean leather sneakers work. Avoid flip-flops. One of the easiest doors for casual outfits in Barcelona – but not beachwear. If you have been turned away elsewhere for wearing sneakers, La Fira is more forgiving.
Women: Casual. Same relaxed standard.
What to avoid: Flip-flops, beachwear, sportswear. Even at La Fira, beachwear is not acceptable. The dress code is a secondary benefit – the main draw is the music and vibe. But you still need to look presentable.

Guest lists
The two locations have different times. Sign up for the wrong one and you will show up at the wrong cutoff.

La Fira Villarroel
💡 Remember: Being on the guest list does not guarantee entry. You still need to follow the dress code, arrive on time and respect the venue’s rules.
Tips for getting in
Arrive before the cutoff. Cutoff times are real – show up late and you pay full price. Even relaxed doors have limits.
Guest list does not guarantee entry – door policy still applies, though La Fira is one of the easiest. Bring valid photo ID. 18+. Mixed groups generally have an easier time than all-male groups. No beachwear.
Casual is fine, sloppy is not.

If you want alternatives with similar casual vibes:
Clubs with stricter dress codes
If you landed here by accident and want something more upscale. Both have stricter dress codes and doors.
Wrap-up
La Fira is the place to go for reggaeton and Latin music in Barcelona. Two locations, same vibe – just check which one you are going to and arrive before the cutoff. Villarroel if you want the extra 30 minutes of free entry. Casanova if that is closer to you.
