Barcelona Club Costs: Entry Prices, Drinks, and How to Save on a Night Out

Barcelona club entry price runs 15-20€ at the door. Add drinks, transport, and sometimes coat check (2 to 4€ per person). It adds up.

Here is the full breakdown and how to cut the biggest cost.

Entry prices at the door (without guest list)

Most Barcelona clubs charge 15-20€ at the door. That usually includes one drink (beer or soft drink).

Paying at the door is the most expensive way in.

Special events (for example, famous DJs, themed nights, Halloween, New Year’s Eve) may charge more. Holiday eves behave like Friday: same or higher prices.

  • Sutton: 20€ with drink
  • Bling Bling: 20€ with drink
  • G Spot: 15-20€ with drink
  • Opium: 15-20€ with drink
  • Shoko: 15-20€ with drink
  • Negro Rojo: 15-20€ with drink
  • Ku Barcelona: 15-20€ with drink
  • Downtown: 15-20€ with drink
  • Costa Breve: 15-20€ with drink
  • La Biblio: 15-20€ with drink
  • Otto Zutz: 15-20€ with drink
  • Input: 15-20€ with drink
  • Colors: 15-20€ with drink
  • Jamboree: 15-20€ with drink
  • La Fira Casanova: 15-20€ with drink
  • La Fira Villarroel: 15-20€ with drink

How to get in free (or cheaper) with the guest list

Just signing up to a free guest list, like the Barceloning guest list, can save you 15 to 20€ with just 2 clicks.

Sign up to free guest lists

Many clubs offer free entry before a cutoff on most weeknights (Sun-Thu). Some clubs on Fridays and Saturdays give a discount instead of free. Opium and Shoko work that way.

La Fira gives free until cutoff, then a 3€ discount after. Input offers a discount via Xceed ticket. W Hotel (Noxe) is free anytime; no cutoff.

Typical savings: 15-20€ per person per night when you use the guest list. For a group of 4 going out twice, that is 120-160€ saved, collectively.

How does a guest list work?

A guest list is just a list of people that can enter for free (or with a discount).

You can sign up to some of the best free guest lists in Barcelona and it takes 30 seconds and just a few simple clicks. No app, no account needed.

Arrive before the cutoff, follow the dress code, say you are on the Barceloning guest list and show the email confirmation at the door.

💡 Remember: Being on the guest list does not guarantee entry. You still need to follow the dress code, arrive on time and respect the venue’s rules.

Drink prices inside

Entry often includes one drink. After that, you pay. Beer runs 6-10€. Cocktails and mixed drinks run 15-20€. Drinks inside are where many people overspend. Set a budget before you go in.

Other costs

Coat check

Some clubs charge 2-4€ for the guardarropa (wardrobe or cloth check). Not all clubs have one. If you can avoid bringing a jacket, you skip this.

Transport

Late-night taxis cost more. A ride from Barceloneta to Eixample or Olympic Village to the center typically runs 10-20€.

Uber uses similar pricing and can surge at peak times. Split the fare with your group.

VIP / table service

Total cost breakdown: three scenarios

Let’s look at three different scenarios to see how much you would pay (as an estimate):

Scenario A: Solo, with guest list, moderate drinking

  • Entry: 0€ (guest list)
  • Drinks inside: 15-25€ (2-3 drinks)
  • Transport: 10-15€
  • Total: 25-40€

Scenario B: Group of 4, without guest list, moderate drinking

  • Entry: 60-80€ (4 × 15-20€)
  • Drinks: 60-100€ (2-3 drinks each)
  • Transport: 15-25€ (split taxi)
  • Total: 135-205€

Scenario C: Group of 4, with guest list

  • Entry: 0€
  • Drinks: 60-100€
  • Transport: 15-25€
  • Total: 75-125€

As you can see, you can save 60 to 80€ on the entry fee for a group of 4 people just by signing up to a free guest list.

Final Tips

  • Use the guest list. It is the biggest single savings. Free entry before cutoff on most weeknights.
  • Arrive before cutoff. Free entry expires. Show up late and you pay full price.
  • Pre-drink responsibly. Many clubs expect you to buy something inside. One or two drinks is normal.
  • Split transport. Share a taxi from Barceloneta to Eixample or vice versa.
  • Weeknights are cheaper. Guest list is often free. Fri/Sat at Opium and Shoko are discount-only.
  • Check the dress code. Getting turned away wastes the night and any money you already spent. Check out the links at the bottom of this page to read about dress code at each club.
