Best Monday and Sunday Parties in Barcelona – Yes, Clubs Are Open

Sunday and Monday are Barcelona’s quietest nights – but clubs are still open. Many offer free guest list entry and looser dress codes than the weekend. Here is where to go and what to expect.

Sunday and Monday – what to expect

The scene is smaller than Friday and Saturday. Fewer people, shorter lines, more relaxed doors. That is the honest answer.

Dress codes are the loosest on these nights. Smart casual is usually enough, even at venues that are stricter on weekends. Monday to Wednesday: more relaxed at most clubs. Sunday: more relaxed again at most venues.

Guest lists still apply. Arrive before the cutoff. Being on the guest list does not guarantee entry – dress code and door discretion still apply. But if you follow the rules, you get in.

Jamboree – latest cutoff, Sun–Thu only

Jamboree runs guest list Sunday to Thursday only. Confirmed for Sunday and Monday.

Free entry until 2:30 AM – the latest cutoff on this list. Best for late arrivers. Hip hop in one room, Latin and commercial in the other. Relaxed dress: clean t-shirt and jeans fine, clean leather sneakers can work. Age 18+. Location: Pl. Reial, 17, Gothic Quarter.

Opium – beachfront, free Sun–Thu

Opium offers free entry until 1:00 AM Sunday to Thursday. Confirmed for Sun and Mon. Age 18+. Commercial hits. Beachfront. Location: Pg. Marítim de la Barceloneta, 34.

Smart casual – no beachwear despite the beach location. Footwear checked.

Ku Barcelona – beachfront, free Mon–Thu

Ku Barcelona offers free entry until 1:00 AM Monday to Thursday. Sunday varies by DJ – may be discount instead of free. Age 18+. Commercial, reggaeton, electronic room. Moderate dress code – smart casual, no shirt required. Location: Pg. Marítim de la Barceloneta, 38.

Colors – relaxed, on La Rambla

Colors offers free entry until 1:30 AM. Age 18+. Hip hop, commercial, reggaeton. One of the more forgiving doors. Location: La Rambla, 33 – tourist-friendly.

Open days not specified in source library – check before heading out.

Shoko – beachfront, RnB and reggaeton

Shoko offers free entry until 1:00 AM Sunday to Thursday. Confirmed for Sun and Mon. Age 18+. RnB, reggaeton, commercial. Beachfront. Location: Pg. Marítim de la Barceloneta, 36.

Smart casual – footwear checked, clean leather sneakers can work.

Noxe (W Hotel) – no cutoff, very strict door

Noxe is the club inside the W Hotel. Open Sunday and Monday. Free entry with the guest list – no cutoff. The only club on this list where the free entry does not expire.

Age 21+. Commercial hits and house. Location: Plaça Rosa Del Vents 1, Pg. de Joan de Borbó.

The dress code is very strict – stricter than anything else on this list. Shirt required for men. Dark, clean shoes are the safest choice. Elegant for women. Do not arrive in smart casual and expect to get in – this is a different standard.

Dress code on Sunday and Monday

These nights are the most forgiving. Monday to Wednesday: more relaxed at most clubs. Sunday: more relaxed again at most venues.

Still no beachwear, sportswear, or flip-flops. Clean and put-together is the bar. At La Fira, Jamboree, Colors, Otto Zutz: clean t-shirt and jeans acceptable. At Opium, Shoko, Ku: no shirt required, but no beachwear – footwear checked.

Guest list does not override dress code. Door decision is final.

Tips for Sunday and Monday nights

Arrive before the cutoff. Guest list benefit expires regardless of signup. Jamboree has the latest cutoff (2:30 AM) – best for late arrivers.

Smaller crowds mean shorter lines and a more intimate vibe. Check the club’s social or Barceloning party page before heading out – some venues may have different schedules on holidays or special dates.

Summer caveat: Opium and Shoko may replace free weekday entry with a discount – check current conditions.

Wrap-up

Sunday and Monday are not dead nights in Barcelona. Sign up to the guest list, dress clean and casual, and arrive before the cutoff.
